If you’re a fan of Dexter and the Dexter spinoff, then read on…..Showtime revealed the cast for the planned 10-part thriller about the titular character’s days of training to become a serial killer with a code: he only kills people who deserve it. Actor Patrick Gibson (Netflix’s Shadow and Bone) will play the younger version of Michael C. Hall’s Dexter Morgan, while Christian Slater will portray his adoptive father, homicide detective Harry Morgan. Molly Brown, from film Senior Year, has been cast as Dexter’s younger sister, Debra Morgan. This newest installment will be set 15 years before the original show began. It follows Dexter “as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can’t be ignored any longer, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness. With the guidance of his father, Harry (Slater), he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on law enforcements’ radar. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department.”

Yeah watching this I was remembering all the things the show has been through to get to this point and thinking this is great and keeps me interested but if I could binge watch it all together it would be so much better.

Just another corporate tactic to keep everyone eating it up. Pay 3 times as much for cable all to wait years or months for either the next season or the other half of it. Cruel tactic

This has got to be one of the worst movies I’ve seen this year! If I had to score it, I would give it a 1/5. If you’re a fan of apocalyptic movies, and end of the world scenarios, Then you’re barking up the wrong tree. I’ve been waiting for so long to watch this, but I ended up being so disappointed with the lack of a story, and the horrible acting. The Movie jumps right in to the action, or should I say the lack of action. There really wasn’t a great plot to follow, and the whole movie was pretty much about a few journalists trying to make it across a few states without getting killed. The whole movie was just lacking any kind of a story, It could have been a great movie, but this one fell hard and never got back up.

Very sad to see it go. Very emotional last episode. Wish it didn’t end but they did a great job on the ending. Best ending I’ve seen in a series Id say

I tried watching this show before but those screaming kids ruined it for me. I decided to cowgirl up and give it another go. 4 episodes in and I do like it so far, but I have a question…does the screaming ever stop???

Yes, he has proven himself over the years to be an actor that can take on any role and make it believable! I first took note of his acting when he was 17 and was in the movie The Name of the Rose with Sean Connery. I mean, in a movie with Sean Connery!

I like how the last 2, especially this one, explained a lot. Made the whole thing work for me a lot better knowing a few more things then I did before. Mind blowing really don’t begin to cover it, this can go a long way if they work it right…

Ah ok that seems like a legit reason not to like them. For me I loved the books but never really got down with him getting with Vic. In the TV show they stayed away from that for most of the series but made implications towards the end that there was something there. NOT making it a part of the series I think, made it more successful because the books’ personality of Vic, her being almost the same age to the daughter Caity and foul mouthed tough as nails Philly behavior never seemed like something reality based as a love interest for Longmire. (It seemed more for the ego of the writer) I could see all that being enough to turn someone off form the books.

5/5. Best movie I’ve seen this year so far. This movie was a roller coaster ride! Bawled my eyes out at one point. So Good. The whole family can watch it and it is based on a true story. This movie deserves an award and I wholly recommend it.

Was kinda waiting for someone to comment and say something, tell if this was shyte or not. Seems like at least one person liked it, so was about to go hit the beer store and grab a couple tall boys and come back and watch something, so this looks like it’s gonna be what I watch. My, oh, my! Hmmmm……trying to find words to describe this new drama. Intriguing maybe, not your usual crime drama. Marc Warren from Van Dr Valk & Hustle, Marc Lewis Jones from Keeping Faith & Outlander are in this drama.
