It is as I expected. While Cavil is much prettier, and easier on the eyes? He just lacks range.
It’s great when he gets typecast to play roles where he stays stone faced, but Liam is just that much more versatile an actor. He maybe should have been cast from the get go, as he even looks more like Geralt of the games than Cavill did.
They said they did want Liam in the beginning, but when Cavill showed up, he blew them away due to his Geralt embodiment, and his knowledge of the books. He had a lot of ideas for them, and then they didn’t want to listen to him, and that was that. The main person over all of it is a female, and she agreed with Cavill totally, then switched gears on him. Seems she lied to him to get him onboard, then she sided with the writers who dislike the series, and are always making fun of it. Not a good mixture.
