So I waited a little for all the discussion to calm down, I have finished episode one and I really thought it was okay. Not bad at all, IMO.
It is ok if you just look/analyze it as new series, not as continuation of the previous seasons. And I do look at it as continuation and that is not it. As some new series/movie it is ok, like we had different James Bonds, Supermans and etc. If they went with Geralt’s life in early ages, Liam would fit perfectly, because it is a different story, a different aspect of Geralt’s life, but we already had built character and it is tought to see the changes for the same character where story continues. At least for me.
