Well, dont speak too soon….because although Del Toro is superb with horror and fantasy…he does have Oedipal issues…. and tends to romanticize the monsters with the leading ladies.
So we may have a predictable emphasis on Victor being the monster again, in the end.
Not a bad thing , either way….and I agree, the Trailer looks brilliant .
The creature isn’t the monster, that’s the whole moral of the story that Mary Shelley wanted to convey.
