I was so shocked he won. When they did the “I’m a faithful” and he busted out laughing I was like, yeah, he’s done but they let him skate!!!! I was so gutted for Joe in that final vote. He looked so devastated. Overall it was a pretty good series, better than some of the other countries. I think because they were doing it for charity they were all a bit more team motivated. That the betrayed comforted Alan at the end was so telling. I’m only sad that Stephen Fry didn’t last to the end as he was my favorite person on the show & so fun to watch. Overall, very good season. Hope they do more
The stress of being a traitor was evident when Alan won and cried, not for joy, but for shame at deceiving the others. The winner needed comfort. But I wasn’t expecting the entire cast to be so easily fooled. Like you said Lily, when Alan tried to claim he was a faithful and physically couldn’t, without bursting with laughter… get a clue, cast! It was a fun series. Fry and Claire left far too soon.
