If I am being honest neither do I, I think back to all the times Picard mentions the prime directive, which oddly isn’t mentioned in this series thus far, the prime directive is there for a VERY VERY good reason, one just cant be aware of the consequences that come from interfering with other species evolution, and or introducing them to medical or technical practices said society may or may not be ready for, too many variables and possible outcomes to be sure, but could I stand by and let 10s of thousands of people die from a common cold when I have the cure in my pocket? I really don’t know my friend, that’s a tough call, a really REALLY tough call.
