Premise screwed up sure. A fun watch of course. Has anyone seen the remake? I don’t want to waste my time if it’s horrible. I remember it got terrible reviews but it came out at a weird time when people forgot movies are pretend.
Hmmm it’s got 6.8/10 on Imdb so I wouldn’t say it did badly and remember this being on TV a few times.
I do agree that you wouldn’t get this green lit today if they tried to make it now, not without some serious edits/rewrites. Probably so much so that it wouldn’t look much like the original or be worth doing as a result.
