Ok, fire the entire sound crew and the editor. Shorten and/or cut all the unnecessarily looong drawn out scenes. Tweak background soundtrack and sound effects with music/sound effects that fit and flow with the scene. (using screeching people for a sound effect made my ears bleed) And would it have killed ‘em to put some dialog in? The scene with the cryopods and the soundtrack during that part reminded me of Alien, in the Nostromo; many scenes and sound effects including the space suits look like they made it into the Alien franchise. Wouldn’t take much to turn this classic flick into a decent slow burn Sci-fi, horror, thriller that could be released to a modern audience. They remake EVERYTHING anyway, why not this?
