Well said, I find myself of the same opinion watching this in 2025, and also quite a few episodes that focus on alien species having multiple genders, stuff that wouldn’t really fly now adays and would be picked apart as agenda propaganda was just…. science fiction back then lmao.

Like his bio on Mahler, Ken Russell presents a bio on Liszt with Beatles’ Ringo Starr, Rocky Horror’s Nell Campbell, Who’s Roger Daltrey & Fiona Lewis. Centered around his pursuit of pleasure, it’s a bio only Russell could’ve done.

That’s why Henry Cavill left the show, on his own accord or otherwise.

I have just learned that the Galaxy class ships seen on this show weren’t capable of atmospheric landing like the Interpid class ship seen on Voyager, will have to see if this lore holds true going forward.

Well that was a cliffhanger.

So far so good, enjoying most of the cast and the story so far, all be it not much of one yet I know, looking forward to seeing the arcs that come about in this series. I really enjoyed DS9 so fingers crossed this holds a candle.

I was NOT expecting 7 of 9 to be so attractive, like holy smokes, but it kinda plays into her whole persona of being the “perfect life form”. At least thats what I understand Borg to be about, assimilate any and all cultures or species that rival their own to improve upon their own kind. I’m really hoping for an all out conflict with the Borg, if not, I may have to find out if there are any Star Trek arcs that do. I have genuine compassion for Seven’s situation, the isolation and confusion she tries to conquer as Voyager attempts to assimilate HER into their crew.

This Borg Arc is epic man.

I sort of miss those days when you only had 3 channels, not counting PBS because it had nothing good on it at that time, and you could watch one show in the season and another show on another channel in reruns in the summer…all without having to pay for it.

Such a great little family flick. I loved this one myself. But again my kids just adored it. I watched it twice myself. 4/5 stars from me.

I like, it got my science fiction noodle going. It’s quite original, there seems to be baddies and goodies on both sides - I think I have figured out a couple of the plot items that haven’t been revealed yet, I will not spoil… I am hoping for me to be wrong about these and for the plot to take a few twists - roll on next week…
(Nutflux has us all spoiled releasing all episodes at once I says!)
