Just started watching this, binged the first couple episodes, and now am back for more.Kind of reminded me of Dexter a little bit with the narration in the background, and whoever wrote that is a really good wordsmith. Noticed she also has pretty much the same luck that Dexter seemed to have, and starting out, is using some of his same methodology. I’m hoping that as this moves along, it might get a bit more developed and bloody. Really liking this so far

This is Trek at it’s finest, while the first two season’s felt more “dated”, and yes I understand given the timeline of this series that it is meant too, the enterprise has since got a few upgrades and this new arc introduced in season 3 see’s the Enterprise in many skirmishes, every episode action packed, love this series, too bad it only went on for 4 seasons :/

This episode and the previous really kick this series into a different direction and a rather exciting one, not only are the Suliban still an ongoing threat (creepy ass mofo’s crawlin on the ceiling and shit), we got the Xindi, I feel like the Xindi won’t go quietly into the night.

So the people on the left are crazy violent radicals that will sell each other out. The people on the right are crazy violent establishment reps that will sell each other out. Both sides are obsessed with having sex with anything that moves, including the people on the other side.
The take down of the paramilitary group was ludicrous. All the actors performed like they were on quaaludes or amphetamines. The dialog was almost like they were adlibbing half the time.
Pretty much a movie that makes no point and everyone sucks. It was like the writer and director woke up one morning and decided they hated everyone and everything in the world.

What do you mean?
By the end of episode 3, its only been 5 days where the first day was mostly spent grieving Helen, and then a day flying to Europe to meet the others, and the next day flying back and watching Golden Girls re-runs, and the fourth day going to Sprouts and blowing up Zosia, and the fifth day at the hospital.
I mean the fact that she figured out they could give her a Nuke in 5 days feels more like a video game speedrun move.
for sure, and she’s figuring out the outlines, like what their ethics are and what happens with contradiction, and whether she can coax individuality, like what is it.. and freaking out that she only has a few months with no idea what to do.. mind you i would now ask them to reverse it, so that it could be like an opt in pluralistic hive mind

Oh, I really like this, just one episode in, and I really like this. And I really like where it’s possibly going as well. I have the feeling that she might well wind up being something like the ‘chick’ version of Dexter, but with a few differences, and a bit less blood. I do see a lot in common between the two of them already.

Was about to go check it out, got sidelined, going right now to make some popcorn and try to dive in, has almost 2 seasons out, so has the potential for a decent binge, then will come back and check this out.

Holy shit this show is AMAZING!
This is what life will be like in the very near future when AI takes over most human thinking, and yes, that’s where we are heading. Only without all the peace and love they depict here.
We are already halfway there and that’s why people seem dumber than we were 2 decades ago and society seems to be falling apart. When you don’t use your brain, you lose it.

This is bad, purposely turning Dr. Glassman’s wife into an antagonist on the 1st episode means she’s out. They could have made it less obvious, but real life is even worse. Is real life just a sht show in the 1st world and a murder in the 3rd?

Ive never watched this but in the anime world its famous, many times the comments about an anime will include a reference to this anime and how some of the anime they just watched had parts inspired by JoJo’s adventure , maybe i’ll watch it someday see what all the fuss is about.

Another really good episode, these just get better and better. Kind of makes up in a way for not having Dexter anymore. Not the same show by a long shot, but does remind me of it a little bit more with each episode.
