Love this one. It’s an 80ies era gem of a movie and love the storyline…seeing a cameo performance of a (then unknown talent) rock guitar virtuoso by the name is Steve Vai is an extra added bonus too.

This one is a total 90ies era Guilty Please gem.
I remember seeing this one in the theater shortly after I had separated from Active Duty from The Air Force and personally knowing a few of the military movie advisors who were in The Army and actually took part in the Invasion of Panama to oust Manuel Ortega

I have to say…THIS is one of those 80ies era movies that has grown on me over the years. I remember at first, when this movie first came out in the theaters way back when, just thinking this was a totally crap movie and the storyline wasn’t funny (then again I had a differing view on death and the loss of someone at the time). However…as time has gone by and just like with “Pet Semetary”? I have ended up liking this one as well as it’s sequel too

Does Morena Baccarin remind anyone else of Catherine Bell (JAG, NCIS, The Good Witch)? I like her and so far, I like this show, but then, I always was into the story more than the acting.

I’ll give it a 8/10 compared all other movies I’ve seen in the last year.

They do what they can.. I guess that the fiddler were fostered by daddys money to be truly powerless on a personal level, and chose entitlement as a substitute and got lost and enabled from an early age. It’s a tragic story, but also very representative for many people that were left out in the rain by lost and emotionally disconnected parents hiding in work and success.
That’s, on the deeper level, why they got the support for this distraction of an 80:ies mafia show. It is a testament to the dread of meeting the trauma of not being seen and feel loved.. A sacrificed nation, cannibalised children, a murdered natural world..
Even if this show is emotionally fun and satisfying to watch it is not the solution but also a part of a suppression that creates and maintains the pendulum in motion. Love(understanding and volentary engagement) and true release (letting go of pain and fear without action) needs to enter the mix somewhere. Else it will just keep on coming. Enjoy it but also see it inside the box from outside of the box and do your duty. Don’t eat your children, Kiss a MAGA!

Premise screwed up sure. A fun watch of course. Has anyone seen the remake? I don’t want to waste my time if it’s horrible. I remember it got terrible reviews but it came out at a weird time when people forgot movies are pretend.

That’s quite alright, at this point I was willing to take on a spoiler just to find out what’s going on with this darn cook, so I guess I’ll just have to wait and see, but seems to me like he is largely a ghost.

I just completed the season here. It was a fantastic discovery I stumbled upon.
It is an Excellent series and though
I may be late, and I’m glad I found the next season.
Looking forward to binge this next!

This show is turning around. There’s amazing balance and realistic representation. Not an overstretch of DEI, crazy overblown drama, or unrealistic situations. I like it as much as House.
