yeah I’m still bummed about the cancellation too, it was such a nice show. Is the other tv show remake Goosebumps worth watching maybe? It’s not really a slasher lol, but I did grow up reading those books.

Lol yeah same here. I haven’t tried it yet cuz I know the books were for kids cuz I used to read them too but I still have the show on my To Watch list cuz I wanna watch a few episodes at some point and try it out. Especially the episodes based on the books I read like Night of the Living Dummy, for example. Can’t say if it’s worth watching yet cuz I haven’t watched it, but I’m definitely gonna try it soon for some nostalgia lol.
Consequences. Maddie learning about bittersweet consequences. Interesting relationship between the two ladies. I was surprised to see a 2nd season. I’d read somewhere Bates wasn’t going to make it.
TL;DR: This isn’t a film, it’s a dire warning.
The only thing that spoilt the believability of this movie IMO was the portrayal of the American president. There’s not been a US president with remotely anywhere near such a level of intellect, let alone who’s displayed anywhere near such an altruistic nature regarding anyone but their immediate friends & family at best, for quite some time. But, I let it slide as I know the SS and military routinely vet movies that even mention a part of the MIC and they’ve been known to demand script changes that end up with similarly unbelievable characters.
I just imagined Trump in his place, considering the closeness to reality this film dedicates itself to, and that did the trick (as it gave me a brutally real ending to ‘enjoy’).
IMO the ending is left absent the vain hope of awakening some desperately-needed awareness within the masses of the very real danger we’re all currently in, where there also won’t be any comforting closure crafted for the vast majority in our own (pretty much guaranteed at this point) future ‘nuclear event’, save one’s own private perceptions of the moment of their vapourisation, if they’re one of the lucky ones.
This is NOT a film that offers the psychological comfort of closure.
It’s NOT a film that is made to entertain. Quite the opposite.
This is a film created explicitly to warn all who watch it of the fraying tightrope each and every one of us are currently being made to walk along and how it could suddenly disappear from under us in an instant, meaning all on the rope die.
It HAD to end as it did, because the end is obvious. Isn’t it?
Filled with drama of an all-too-real and sobering sense, it’s a very well done example of how things would pretty much go, should this disturbingly all-too-plausible scenario actually take place and, I feel the deliberate sense of ‘Art Imitating Life’, along with their truly pertinent warning of nuclear annihilation would have been entirely lost, had the film pandered to any sense of expected conclusion.
I had no problems with it at all, not one scene seemed to me to be too dark at all, and was watching on a laptop, and had a great picture through the whole thing, sound was good too.
I believe this to be a spin off episode. I read about Witcher spin offs, might be another one besides this one. Can’t recall exactly everything I read in the article.
Agree and the sound is not good, the overall picture is not good quality due to being recorded with a smartphone probably. So greyfur chill okay and don’t get mad, I just don’t like watching a movie that is TS. I can wait for a better copy.
I’m not mad, I just don’y understand why I had good quality when everybody else seemed to get crap…
Currently too bloody dark on any scene that’s not showered in light, for one.

Well, that weren’t creepy at all, now were it? kind of made me miss Donald Southerland more then a little.
Favorite flic i live 20 miles from the famous train crash scene at the end ……Linden CA.
I liked it … a lot! I found it very emotional, thought provoking and relatable. Great cast and decent special effects. I will watch this one again.
I don’t give a rats what anybody has to say, this right here is how you make a movie!
Awesome 1st episode! Caught me totally off-guard and I’m left agog for more. 5/5
An hour and a half in, and this movie started pretty good, but quickly became pretty dumb.
Gonna finish it, but can’t see it getting any better. This monster is an Xman or something.
Might give this go. Gillian Anderson drama and wonder if plays an American or Irish character. Starts Sunday.
Hollywood is obsessed with the Forest Gump concept of a dumb dumb saves the world….
Hollywood has entered the chat because no way you getting all these downvotes for such a harmless comment 😂
Haven’t seen the show tbh.. Looks like I will!
Awww, King Thomlin Lannister as a young, gutter scallywag pimp. Spot the Game of Throners game is fun.
Awe, those girls were just the best. The little one has a can doo attitude towards everything and was always so encouraging and gracious. I wish I was more like her.
Didn’t know what the show was about, thus had no expectations going in. It’s very good so far, cannot wait for the rest of the episodes to air.
I never thought I’d be that person but….. I didn’t see what month this was supposed to be set in just the year, 1991, and yes, Pearl Jam’s Ten came out in ‘91 (Aug) but no one was playing Porch on the radio at that time. Maybe it was a cassette but the music on the radio in these episodes seem like a big part of the ambiance. I was so surprised by how much that threw me off. I was in high school during the early 90s so I was digging the music. Not sure if the rest was accurate but every time I heard a song I had to think about if it was time period appropriate. Now I live in fear of accidentally asking a kid in a band shirt to “name 3 songs” sigh
Wow, Michael B. Jordan is a scrawny teenager, that’s a fresh look.
Is this another episode we get to play the “personality or drunk?” game lol
This is a bad movie, Chris is a better movie critic then a film maker, sorry to to say this I had high hopes for this movie but I was like watching a Blair Witch remake.
Like watching an episode of 80’s Fall Guy with Bautista as Lee Majors; and army tankin’ it up much at the army tank party? Campy, thrown together, cash grab… like Twisted Metal turned out. One time watch.
The 2 party system is and has been a lie for decades now.
Both parties believe in the globalist agenda and have very similar goals on the stuff that actually matters.
Democrat/Republican Mafia: left wing, right wing, same vulture. ONE AGENDA: RULE WITH IRON FIST. Make up “laws” to steal every US citizens’ money, and every penny the world has, to rule the world with an iron fist. Republicans: rich, racist, fascist and don’t care how it looks in the public eye. Democrats: rich, racist, fascist but want to hide the fact, so it looks better in the public eye.

Excellent, I’m all in. Love a good mockumentary. The cast is fantastic.
