The 2 party system is and has been a lie for decades now.
Both parties believe in the globalist agenda and have very similar goals on the stuff that actually matters.

There will come some.. well let’s be kind and say UNFORGIVABLE scenes for the book loreish..
And yeah, it’s not pretty when the normal American 💩 takes over in a way that the original author would shoot his brains out and take his mother with him over, just to not to have to live with the memories and shame. 🫣😩🤐🤪😖🤬💔😞

That one change to a character that SAs Ciri and is now her “diverse” lesbian lover is complete shit.
They ruined all that but made her and rats brutal death the one sweet thing in this turd.

talk about a nice surprise!! in my opinion the most underrated u.s political (& presidential) assassination story finally gets told in a big-time netflix series starring one of my very favorite actors playing pres.garfield and it has nothing to do with the hit on lincoln or jfk, rfk or even what happened at chappaquiddick,. not even the attempts on reagan or trump, not mlk or X or that dude named milk that got his own movie, or any other that i cant think of right now…. like saaay jesse james or umm,.. lennon or alllll them poor souls putin & king north korea had silenced,.(r.i.p to all above ofcourse)…. finally my fellow buckeye & mentorian/clevelander aka all-time favorite president and the original “crazed lone gunmen” story gets told and its so good!!!!! hell yea! GO GARFIELD and GO BROWNS g-d damnit and g-d bless the U.S.A!! lolol

Don’t know if I want to watch this, even if I love most of the actresses in it. Of course, KK has a hip-high slit in her skirt on the cover pictures. That’s enough to turn me off, right there. I’ll probably watch one episode just to see what it’s like.

Average, was expecting more of a storyline then your basic sportsman on barbiturate’s and muscle enhancers.

There’s a few of these now. The original UK version, the us version. An German one, a French one, and now this aussie one. The UK ran for 5 seasons and ended shame it was quite funny. The US is still going and us also quite funny. The German one dropped in March 2025 but there are no links, no links for the French one either, we’ll see if this one stands up to the UK and us versions.

Not much on this movie, but an interesting cast. It is in production, but the release date could be late 2026 or early 2027.

Yes I was aware of those this regarding Caviezel. He was amazing in the first one. I can’t wait to see this. It’s unfortunate that it’s going to be a couple more years

This was my introduction to Peter Coyote. This might not have been top-shelf, but it wasn’t bad. Being from a novel, it did have a good story line, but the best thing about the movie was the theme song from George Thorogood and the Destroyers, ‘Bad to the Bone’, one of my all time favorite songs. Anyway, I’d give it a 6/10.

yellow_rose1 1 points 1 month ago.

I can not believe I did not know about this movie until tonight. I found a hidden gem lucky me. I live in Kingston Ontario, Canada and we had our own Nyad. Her name was Vicky Keith. I would see her on the news swimming Lake Ontario back in 1988 after getting my first apartment. It’s bringing back some fantastic memories. Annette Benning and Jodie Foster are incredible in these roles. They just draw you into the story immediately

Lost (2004)
Great Uncle Bulgaria 1 points 1 month ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This show is like heroin - you’ll be constantly chasing the high you got from the first couple seasons, but to no avail as the ending realy isn’t worth the effort of slogging through six seasons of enduring the character of Jack just to get there.
Protip: after season two you can fast forward through every appearence of Jack and miss nothing - nothing whatsoever - of importance to the storyline, even though he’s presented as a lead character right to the effin’ end. Sheesh.

Ghosts Australia (2025) S1 E3
Boraes 2 points 1 month ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I wasn’t too sure to start with myself as the ghost characters imo seem to be a little too stupid, or maybe it just doesn’t come off as naturally as the same style does in other series. However, I think by then end of the season they’ve got into the swing of it and it picks up enough that I’ll watch the next season. Tbh wasn’t a fan of the US one for the first episode or two and now it’s probably my fav.
One thing though that I’m a bit iffy on is how for this series a lot of the ghosts seem to have ‘died’ over something like a 150 year period. Means you don’t get quite the breadth of differing periods that you do in the UK and US versions.

kronickurves 1 points 1 month ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Colonial Australia is 250 years old. I don’t think the series will include ghosts of First Nations descent due to the cultural beliefs of the First Nations people, who believe that depicting spirits of the deceased disturbs them in the afterlife/journey to. If Gideon knew Captain Cook, he’d be the oldest, dying around 250years ago, then the Convicts.

The Resurrection of the Christ: Part One (2027)

Caviezel physically endured a lot both on camera and off filming The Passion, plus he’s aged out of this role. The actor replacing him looks like a great fit. Knowing Gibson, these 2 films (Part 1 & 2) will be epic!

One of the lesser known UK films of the late sixties but well worth a watch - as the film poster says ‘She’s Top Banana’ plus there’s Donald Sutherland, what more could you need?

snazzydetritus 8 points 1 month ago.

Has to be Donald Sutherland’s daffiest role. And then there is Genevieve Waite’s Minnie Mouse voice. This film is a late 60s relic. It didn’t age well, and it doesn’t even care. It will always be firmly, happily stuck in 1968.

mate, there’s not a lot in the middle of nowhere australia-land lol so it does kinda make sense there’s not a lot of ghost actively. plus i bet this show has a stupid small budget, and a super small writers crew, with no green for a season 2,yet, so they can only do so much mate. just enjoy what we got mate! that 80’s chick is a game changer, i think i’m in love btw!

Now that’s some good Thanksgiving fun. Nostalgia glasses but man the 90’s really knew what they were doing. So many “cancel” moments in this film that make it such a great movie. Ed O’Neill hit a home run in this movie. His character is so great and the perfect common man. Ahhh, just some good ol fun in this movie. 8/10

Good way to end season 1. The last scene was filmed at the Philbrook museum and is a very pretty museum and there is a beautiful rose garden not far from there. The country rock song at the end was very fitting too. This is what I found on maybe a 2nd season….Hulu has not yet officially announced a second season for
The Lowdown, but there is strong interest from the cast and crew, and many hopeful signs point toward a possible renewal.
