The idea that Saxons after the Norman Conquest were pagans is ridiculous. In most cases I am happy to ignore playing fast and loose with history. This is a bridge way, way, way too far for me to the point of being offensively stupid, and they’ve made it a central plot point. What a waste of Sean Bean and the other top talent. This is why we can’t have nice things.

Regine -1 points 1 month ago.

According to AI ….. Yes, the Anglo-Saxons were pagans before converting to Christianity, which is a process that occurred gradually in England, mainly during the 7th century.

IMO. The BEST Halloween episode of ANY show this year. Glad it lingered til Nov 3. Feliz Dia De Los Muertos!

Bravo!!! The single best arc out of the three I have watched so far. There is so much to talk about here, impossible to touch base on it all. One of the things that stood out to me in this episode was how Stewart would constantly stutter trying to explain his plight, in complete contrast to how was as captain on The Enterprise. I am moving onto the three feature films from here, following that I will watch Picard, then Enterprise and from there I am not sure, I HAVE decided I will watch SNW, I hope I don’t regret that decision, I think if I DO watch Lower Decks (or any other animated features), it will be after I finish the rest of the franchise. I can confidently say I’m a Trek superfan, I’ve already read up on all the different classes of starships and learning things such as USS Voyager is an Intrepid class starship and is one of the first that is capable of atmospheric landing, something many starships can’t do. What the deflector array is and does, types of phaser and torpedo arrays, and every manor of techno babble I could fill my head with, the meaning of the pips on uniform collars across all franchises and so on, anyway, we love it here.

Just so you don’t miss one it’s 4 films. Generations, First Contact, Insurrection, Nemesis.

Two ep. in.. This is bad. And sad. The series have got a real bad director. To save us from having to sit out the outlines of a funeral they leave the Hero’s father to rot in a disposal pit instead of taking him home for a burial.. Like?? WTF?? The Mother dies of broken heart in less than two days after that.. yet a half week later the boy, Rob, are already happy and spry again.. And it goes downhill from there if possible. Here are an since long suppressed culture whom’s members seam used to afford to behave like the spoiled upper class children of an empire.. Totally mindless, serf centered and emotionally impulsive. The only reason to keep on looking on this is if you like the doe eyed Heroin and bet on getting to see some more. This is a surprisingly cheap production, script wise. I mean considering the involvement of some very recognizable actors.. But hey, the nature scenery is fine.

I’ve watched only the first two episodes, I’m trying to pace myself because there are only 8 this season, but I’m definitely enjoying it so far :)

Libs368 2 points 1 month ago.

I really like the lead actress and the dynamic of their relationship.

But US version Jay is my guy.

The AU version Jay is the spoon boy from The Matrix.

It’s not only food companies causing health and weight issues; add in all the chemicals sprayed on crops, injections and crap feed for the livestock, but also dinner plates and shopping carts are almost double in size compared to what they were in the 60’s and 70’s. And the doctor at the end hit the nail on the head; unfortunately for some families it’s cheaper to buy the processed foods than healthier ones. As a stupid example (I’m in Canada so this is Walmart Canada pricing); 1lb of ground beef is just under $10 - that’s a one meal dish, and a bag of 6 stuffed chicken cutlets is the same price - so that’s 6 meals.

don’t a lot of the “future” episodes show that Bart is the only kid to give his parents the time of day? While Lisa is president and Maggie is a rockstar? So I don’t think Bart is evil and not even bad, as if he was really bad he’d be a bully and not like Millhouse or the other kids in his class. He’s just not a good “quality” kid.

Agree. I was a bit unsure of this version during the first episode and although, imo, the ghosts in the US version are better, but it’s different enough from the UK & US versions to be enjoyable and not just feel like a straight copy.

Yeah, and in the end, you grow to enjoy each of the characters so it’s a fun watch.

I was with you on the Richard thing, he is boring…but so is Elsa! On first impressions alone, I thought she would be the first to go, or should’ve been. I think Cameron will win now, but Caroline has made this series what it is, but she will likely be the next to go.

earthangelsoul 0 points 1 month ago.

see i find things like seeing demons and ghosts interesting but jenny’s annoying fear wont let her truly express all that…and marcus too….but besides that, the song singing gets on my nerves, but she’s weird n i like weird lol…yeah i thought she was gonna go right away too just cuz thats how it usually goes with attractive females… i do like caroline, she def has winning potential…i hope cameron doesnt, hes a sweet kid but i find him so slow and boring

(4/5) What a sleeper! I havent heard anything about this film and enjoyed it quite a bit. I really like tower defense games and the premise is basically just that. The practical effects and set pieces look great. The stylized lighting and fog looked really cool imo. The CGI wasnt the best.

Ro Laren is the single most underutilized character on this series. She reminds of a sort of Tom Paris but only in regards to her spotty past with Starfleet and the way she is trying to redeem herself in the eye’s of her captain much the same way Paris did for Janeway. I wish they hadn’t written her out of 2 whole seasons, I really like her, for me she is one of the more dynamic characters on this specific series.
