The 24-year-old amateur-boxer Nick, wants to get away from the gray suburbs where he shares an apartment with his childhood, and best friend Palle. The opportunity arises when he suddenly gets a chance to fight himself to a professional boxing contract in Hamburg, supported by his eager coach. But while he is training for the big fight, he discovers that Palle has serious problems; he owes money to the local gangsters. They threaten his life, because he cannot pay them back. Now Nick is faced with a choice between his deepest dreams and his best friend which is considered as cold reality. |
