Action scenes better than expected

Typically overhyped festival movie. Great atmosphere but it gets boring fast. Barely any dialogue, just desert, trance music and characters with no real back story. The conflict just drops in and is forgotten on the sidelines to lead up to a very sobering ending with no resolutions at all.
Don’t fall for the horror some people tag on this. This is a very slow arthouse drama, nothing else.
Please for the love of god, stop overhyping this kind of movies…. if people left the festival cinema they were bored out of their mindes.

Disturbingly good.

Every single character in this movie, no matter what horrible things they do, thinks they’re a hero. That’s why this is a comment on present day America.

There were two great songs towards the end.
It took me four days shy of a year to finish.
I can understand why my daughter liked this.
“Oh my Glob” — The intro song said the story would never end, but there’s no more grables; sad.
And, there were two or three poignant events in the last third (also, glad it was long enough to convey a fullness).

When Vigilante meets his other - they recreate the Spider-Man meme with the finger pointing, and flat out name him.

the fun part…..here in Germany we had just as big scandals (about schools like in the USA with these type of schools) with progressiv “Waldorf Schools”…everything from inaproppiate sexual behaviour up to psychological mistreatment. (best example infamous “Odenwald school”)

I loved the electric Company from the 1970’s who would have thought the Morgan Freeman that read me stories out of a book on a Saturday afternoon would have become my favorite actor though out my entire adulthood. I love you Morgan, you are the man
