TV Show: Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll ( 2015 )
Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll follows Johnny Rock, lead singer of a legendary early 90s New York band called The Heathens. Known for living up to their name, the band partied so long and so hard that even Keith Richards thought they needed to slow things down. The Heathens were on the brink of becoming famous for their kickass live shows and the release of their highly anticipated first album. Until they broke up. The same day the album dropped. Because lead guitarist Flash found Johnny in bed with his wife. So the band became legendary for all the wrong reasons - like self-destructing sooner than any group in rock 'n' roll history. 25 years later the only thing bigger than Johnny's ego is his prostate. The drugs he really needs now aren't cocaine and marijuana - they're Crestor, Cymbalta and Cialis. He's out of work, out of money and out of show business options. That's when a massively talented young singer named Gigi shows up - with a burning desire to be famous, a throwback appreciation for The Heathens only album, and a stack of cash big enough to bring the whole band back into the studio. Only this time, she is the lead singer and Johnny is just a behind the scenes songwriter. The race is on to see who gets famous first - and for what reason.

Movie: The Beatles, Hippies and Hells Angels: Inside the Crazy World of Apple ( 2017 )
It's 1967 and the Beatles face a major problem: they are the most famous, commercially successful band ever, but their tax bills could bankrupt them. Their answer is to invest their money in a new company, Apple Corps. Today Apple Corps just runs the Beatles back catalogue, but for five glorious years in the late sixties, it was one of the most colourful, outlandish and chaotic companies that ever existed. The Beatles set up a fashion shop, hair dressing salon, tech start-up (Apple before Apple), poetry division, film production department and of course their own record label. The idea was to spread the values of the new Hippie movement around the world. But things will go wrong, if you drop acid during office hours. In this unauthorised film, the true inside story behind Apple is told by the people who worked for the company, from record label executives and the Beatles personal assistants to the office boys and secretaries. Their inside stories are illustrated by never-before-seen archives of photographs taken in Apple's offices, plus specially-commissioned animation and rare archive footage. What emerges is a comic cautionary tale about the peaks and pitfalls of Hippie-dom. The film is narrated by Peter Coyote, legendary counter-cultural activist, actor and author, who visited Apple's offices with the Hells Angels in 1968 As Beatles longtime assistant Tony Bramwell says "How can you be a Hippie, when you are earning a million pounds a week?"

In a career spanning six decades, Robbie Robertson has continued to create as a songwriter, producer, performer, actor, author and film composer. A half-Mohawk, half-Jewish kid from Toronto, Robertson would travel from the dives of Yonge Street to the deep South as an ambitious 16-year-old on a musical mission. His raw talent would thrust him into the spotlight and put him at the center of a cultural revolution, backing Bob Dylan on his notorious 1966 "electric" world tour and later, as a member of The Band, collaborating with Dylan on the ground-breaking Basement Tapes and inventing Americana with songs like "The Weight," "Up on Cripple Creek" and "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down." After 17 years, The Band called it quits with a lavish farewell concert on November 25th, 1976, at San Francisco' Winterland Ballroom, immortalized in the seminal concert film, The Last Waltz, directed by Martin Scorsese - considered by many as the greatest rock and roll film of all time.

Movie: Guitar Man ( 2020 )
Joe Bonamassa has single-handedly transformed Blues from a marginalized legacy genre to an arena-filling spectacle. Interviews and concert footage chronicle his extraordinary rise as a guitar wunderkind mentored by BB King and praised by John Lee Hooker, and his experiences in the cut-throat music business. Despite neglect from the entertainment industry, Joe's independent approach sees him sell out concerts around the world, even hosting heroes like Eric Clapton at Royal Albert Hall. Joe has 22 #1 Blues albums; more than any other artist, including B.B. King, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
