They fly to Negato and are able to negotiate peace talks. Meanwhile, Cleolanta uses Rocky's radio silence to trick the Secretary of Space into flying to the planet Ankapol where she has a hypnosis chamber. She cleverly splices together recordings of Rocky's previous transmissions. She plans to force him to recommend that Ophicius take over some of the United World planets. Rocky appears just in time to prevent it. Throughout the film, Bobby uses parallels in Homer's Odyssey to suggest how Rocky should proceed.
