Portlandia is a follow up to the Fred Armisen (SNL)/Carrie Brownstein comedy collaboration, Thunderant. In the new IFC series (executive- produced by Lorne Michaels), the pair lovingly skewer the people and values of Portland, Ore. by introducing us to Portland archetypes like a militant bike messenger, feminist bookstore owners and an arts & crafts couple who "put birds on things."

Sean Holland, who appeared as Lawrence in the movie, portrayed the new character Sean Holiday in the TV series. The program aired on ABC from 1996 to 1997 and with a network change on UPN from 1997 to 1999. The theme song for the TV series, "Ordinary Girl", was written by Charlotte Caffey (of the Go-Go's) and Anna Waronker, and was performed by China Forbes.

Beetlejuice is an American-Canadian animated television series which ran from September 9, 1989 to October 26, 1991 on ABC and, on Fox from September 9, 1991 to December 6, 1991.Loosely based on the 1988 film of the same name, it was developed and executive-produced by the film's director, Tim Burton.The series focus on the life of Goth girl Lydia Deetz and her undead friend Beetlejuice as they explore The Neitherworld, a wacky afterlife realm inhabited by monsters, ghosts, ghouls and zombies. Danny Elfman's theme for the film was arranged for the cartoon by Elfman himself.

Tiny Toon Adventures is a kids-version of the classic Warner Bros. stars and their cartoons. This show is hosted by Buster and Babs Bunny (No relation!) and their friends Plucky Duck, an egotistical power crazy duck much like Daffy Duck, and Hamton Pig, a shy, kind-hearted pig with low self-esteem just like Porky Pig. The toons are constantly terrorized by Dizzy Devil, a purple version of Taz; Elmyra Duff, a dangerously childish, animal loving freak of nature which makes any animal who comes near her run; and rich kid Montana Max, who goes by the philosophy that rich people never pay and hates everyone and everything.

Based on the best-selling book series, this show revolved around the lives of the Wakefield twins and their friends. Although they are absolutely identical, they have totally different personalities; Liz is everyone's best friend while Jessica is manipulative and devious. The show started out very drama-like, there was little comedic relief and dealt with serious, if not somber issues. As it progressed it took on a more lighthearted, comedic position. Although there were cast changes every season, a few stayed for all four years, including Brittany and Cynthia Daniel who played the Wakefield twins. Not only was the theme song an original song created just for the show, but the songs used throughout the episodes were too. A soundtrack was released in 1995 featuring the songs from the series.

In The Boondocks, Robert "Granddad" Freeman is the cantankerous legal guardian of his rambunctious grandkids Huey and Riley and has moved them from the south side of Chicago to the quiet and safety of "The Boondocks" (in this case, suburban Woodcrest), hoping that he can ignore them altogether and enjoy the golden years of his life in peace. But Huey, a 10-year-old left wing revolutionary, is determined not to enjoy the affluence of suburbia. This attitude is seconded by his 8-year-old brother, Riley, a proud product of contemporary rap culture. Although they torture each other and provoke the neighborhood, they are no match for Granddad, who is eccentric even by "crazy-ass-old-black-man" standards.

Once a third-rate superhero, Harvey Birdman is now a third-rate lawyer trying like hell to get by in a fancy law firm. It's not clear whether Harvey actually went to law school, but he definitely knows the things to say to sound like a lawyer. And he has a suit now, that's for sure.

Dynamite is a 1970s renaissance man with a kung-fu grip. A lover and a fighter who is not afraid to leap before he looks. His sidekick extraordinaire is Bullhorn, the brains and cunning that complements Black Dynamite's hard-hittin', bone-crushin' style. Providing comic relief on the mean streets is Cream Corn and classing up the place is the gorgeous Honey Bee.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force follows the adventures of the aptly named Aqua Teen Hunger Force, a group of mystery-solving fast food items. The team consists of Master Shake, or Shake, a rather sadistic, lazy, ordering milkshake who loves to torture Meatwad. Frylock, the floating box of fries, is the brains the group, and contains the one thing that the rest of the group lacks: common sense. Meatwad is a loving, caring, gentle ball of meat that crawls wherever he goes, who is frequently tortured by Shake.

Robot Chicken uses stop-motion animation to bring pop-culture parodies to life in a modern take on the variety/sketch show format.

Watch the Squidbillies as the Cuylers kick the ass of America's toughest issues, including marriage inequality, taint cancer, speciesism, and the impending Russian snake apocalypse. It's good clean family fun for childless families!

Brak gets advice from Mom (a nice lady who keeps a clean house) & Dad (a human with a Latin accent that is rather short due to a shrink-ray accident), and gets corrupted by Zorak. Brak is an honest and somewhat dumb kid, and Zorak is a foul-mouthed, destruction-loving mantis. Brak's brother Sisto is also around from time to time. Their neighbor is Thundercleese, a giant robot with massive armaments, who likes maintaining his lawn. The Brak Show is a spin-off of Cartoon Planet, which was a spin-off of Space Ghost: Coast To Coast. Confused yet?

The misadventures of a group of disparate roomates who live in a hip neighbourhood in a major city.

After being named CEO of the world's largest and most non-sensical corporation, Sebben & Sebben, Judy Ken Sebben (aka Birdgirl) has to find a way to maintain her work/superhero life balance. Through the halls of the company headquarters she assembles her Birdteam! By day, they try to drag the company into this century. By... mid-afternoon, they usually end up having to break a lot of things to stop something bad that one of them may have helped cause. It's the sort of superhero team we get at this moment.

Brad Neely's Harg Nallin' Sclopio Peepio is a new quarter-hour animated sketch show created by Brad Neely (China, IL), Harg Nallin' Sclopio Peepio features a collection of frenetic one-off bits, shorts and songs, all filtered through Neely's signature visual style. Beware however, as this show hates you.
