Still shit, still not Halo. It’s like the producers were at the table trying to come up with a premise and they came to the conclusion that doing literally everything that goes opposite to the games and eu. AU or not, that’s not how you write a successful show that is directly marketed to the people who loved those things to begin with.
If you know absolutely nothing about Halo, and don’t really care, there’s a chance you might enjoy the show, it’s like every other generic sci-fi show out there, just
with a Halo skin. The pov switching in battle isn’t terrible, it’s a really cool concept it just needs ironing out. The cgi can look pretty good in some instances, but bad in others so be prepared for a little quality switch occasionally.
If you’re fresh, but want to learn about Halo and think the show will give you that lore without having to dish out $100 for the games, you’re shit out of luck.
And if you’re a Halo veteran, you might just start seeing red at the level of disrespect and modern political inserts.
