The next season would be 3. The word “wouldn’t” inferred a next season.
The words “hadn’t waited” would have prevented me from commenting at all.

NO! Read my first comment again! I was referring that they waited 2-3 years before season 2 was filmed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AGAIN I DID NOT MENTION A SEASON 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A prime example is Happy Valley, it has been 7 years since a new season was available!!!!!!!!!! 2-3 years is years! NOT SEASONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
