So far, we agree with you. On the heels of such an amazing first season, this is the ultimate Loki-let-down. Boo hoo.
Well, then you don’t know Loki, his actual plan is 5 steps above all others. He is the God of mischief and deception. They left subtle hints of that through the whole 1st season as well as the episode. He has a plan. He knows he kind of stuck, got put into a role with the time police perse and now he i acting out his personal plan out of it all.
