It was a different world we lived in..from about 1947-1991..cold war..as a kid people actuĺy built fallout shelters and stocked food,water,weapons for the day that we would see ourselves nuked..commie 🇨🇳 happened in 51,and op.ripper stopped them from taking Korea. Its a bad time. Kids taught to hide under ur chair/desk and like fire drills we had nuke drills..ŵe gave nukes to uk,and 7 other countries. Thats how scared this country was. That tension was ongoing when this film was made. So idk if that helps u get the feel..and to this day,if one nuke goes off i wonder how fast others will..seconds or minutes. I can not dispell that fear . Radiation sickness is awful..like any disease that slowly kills..and thats still around. If you were born then u may get more from this film..but 5hen again,its nothing like an action movie.it is slow..i get it. Not everyone will like this..especially if u compare to jhon wick action or riddick etc. Sorry you didnt enjoy it. Myself,id love to think we are not only life that has to speak or write to communicate. 😂
