I know we all were wanting a season 3 because we were somewhat left us hanging. Some sad news! “The historical drama World on Fire will not be returning for a third season on PBS and BBC, as Masterpiece executive producer Susanne Simpson has disclosed during the TV Critics Association winter press tour this Monday. The BBC decided not to renew the series for various reasons that have not been explicitly stated.” It would be nice if the BBC did a tv movie and wrap things up instead of leaving us hanging in the wind!
