First film I ever saw combining an art film with sci fi. Visually it was beautiful, more like a photo shoot than a story. Even the clothing worn by Gardner was dramatic. Although there were other actors, Virginia Gardner almost completely dominated the screen. The actual story was very slow, filled with metaphors and symbols. It also was confusing. The story seemed to be in a constant conflict between if it was going to be about grief and loss or an alien invasion and it`s results. A Gardner fans will be happy watching this. Others may get bored quickly.
