Man, I like these Lower Decks.
I grew up with Kirk and Scottie in black&white, my Dad bought our 1st colour tv in the late 80´s.
Then, the good times in the ninties with Janeway and Picard- my neighbour at the times had the complete Star Trek on VHS, we strattled thru the video rentals on the hunt for new or obscure stuff…
I did not enjoy what comes after exept for the new Star Trek movies but that´s not the point.
This series (to me) came back to the ideals, to the cheeseburger farting Unicorns.
Star Trek turned too dark for me.
In the old days it was always about hope, peace and sloutions. Communication, understanding the other and meet in the middle.
It was this Hippie stuff that I enjoyed and the worldbuilding.
This Lower Decks gives me that back. It´s colourful but not woke. It has its action but isn´t Terminator or Mrs. Ripley.
I can enjoy this. Thanks for putting it out here
