As I was expecting, the reenactments were far more well-done than most documentary-style shows of this nature. Scorsese kind of seems like too much of a genuine believer, though, which lowers the integrity of the show. This type of subject has to be approached objectively, otherwise it feels fanatical.
He is a genuine believer & is true to his faith. Sadly in todays world that may seem fanatical.
