Imo this is and prodigy are the best Trek in recent years. The live action stuff was terrible in just about every way. The writing was lifted mostly from video games or older episodes of Star Trek, DS9, TNG or Voyager with a little Andromeda mixed in with very little rewrite to mask the plagiarism and lack of talent. Everything completely was predictable in the live actions! Very sad that Paramount has canceled Lower Decks.
