When I first saw it, I was upset. Now I love it, simply for the story it does tell. Obviously, the book is much better, but even with this adaption of The Mist, the book is better (although I love what they do in the film adaptation here). Stephen King writes characters in a very well fleshed out, complex way, and his horror is one of a kind in itβs complexities; Iβve never seen anything adapted to film that was entirely spot on due to this. I feel lucky to have his books.
