not according to the guy who made the originals. said he watched the trailer and will not watch the movie. he said that he wishes he could unsee the trailer, but can’t. lol
I mean the trailer does leave a lasting impression… It feels like the tone of the original movies. Not sure if the humor will resonate with anyone younger than a Gen-Xer. Just the fact that they found a dramatic actor with the same initials as the original lead feels like a particular choice too. The last bit of the trailer got a laugh from me. Won’t see it in the theaters but I don’t go to the movies for much of anything now
