Stan Lee and Jack Kirby started their comics in the 40’s, when all movie heroes were Shakespearean actors, and bad guys talked like 1930’s Hollywood gangsters (“like this…., see?”) . These cartoons come out in 1966, exactly the way those two wrote their comic books. A lot of it doesn’t make sense and side characters are impossibly unreal.
The Artwork is pure Kirby though. Take a good look at some of Odin’s costumes and you see pure artistic genius.
