I like the younger versions of Sherlock better. This old one, although he truly resembles the illustrations in the original books, is still sort of creepy. How many illegitimate children can he possibly have? Seems they are going to just keep inventing them until people get sick of it and stop watching. I may be wrong, though. It’s been so long since I read all the books and stories, he may have had several, but I don’t remember that.
I like the storyline, though, so I’m watching it and enjoying it, but it still bothers me that TV insists on mutilating classic literature for their own benefit.
