One thing I have noticed (and I don’t consider this a spoiler, it’s actually rather obvious), but no matter what Star Wars movie or episode I watch, it seems that Empire body armour is utterly worthless. One shot, one kill, and that’s it. you would think that far in the future they would be doing a bit better then that.
Screw the Empire, I would be working for the Rebellion, just based on that alone..🤣
I used to have the Episode 1 Encyclopaedia (Showing my age now xD) which gave you the in-world info about stuff. If there were one with the Storm Trooper armour I’m pretty sure they’d say it’s some kind of ablative polymer/synthetic alloy to help dissipate the energy in blaster shots.
