veronicav : beautiful little story loved it!
First thing, the main actress’s acting was bland. Her delivery of lines didn’t feel heartfelt, it felt rehearsed, read out loud. Her pursed lips didn’t help either. And it was hard, if not impossible, to get attach to her character, especially when she would make head-scratching decisions. And it’s frustrating, because the director should know better. The flashbacks were annoying to me, after a while. They unfortunately, broke the pace of the movie. Wish the director did without them. The confinement of the crashed car, made for some claustrophobic uneasiness. And the creature although nothing memorable, was creepy indeed. It had me backing away from my computer screen at times. But the ending though, I did not see coming. It threw for a loop, and THAT I appreciated. Not an easy feat nowadays. And it stayed with me for a while. So in all, it’s a good one-time watch, that could’ve been so much better with some tweaking.
yep pretty much what i woulda said
