12th September 2025 release date. Mark Hamill is playing the The Major, who is a main antagonist here and a supporting antagonist in the Stephen King multi-verse. The dystopian horror novel (384 pages) this movie is adapted from was written under SK’s pseudonym Richard Bachman in 1979. I’m looking forward to this and really hoping it’s true to form.

I watched the trailer and didn’t recognize Hamill with his sunglasses. Nor did I read the credits here before I saw it. I usually see an interesting new trailer and then look here for the movie.
