Funny enough, Benny Hill’s demise wasn’t at all funny. He was alone, obese, depressed and died of heart failure. There were accusations of sexual misconduct as well. Thing is, everything was dropped and virtually lost. He was definitely funny. Even as a very young teen I saw his satire. Never married, no children, he died alone and sad. He didn’t deserve that.
Aww… so unfortunate. Saw some sort of documentary that covered the end of his life & that was sad.
