My Mom wouldn’t let us buy that kind of cereal. We had Kool Aid once in a while and we were allow chips on the weekends, sometimes. I was a very active preteen and teenager. However, I also had many young adults in my neighborhood willing to share there smokes and alcohol. I had no supervision growing up.

We were total latch-key kids too. And actually had to mow lawns to buy our own stuff like clothes, magazines, comics, school supplies & snacks. Our regular food was all farm grown, so if we wanted something different, we had to paint a house or do yard work to get it.
