People are way too emotional. Seperate the man from the art. The art is suffering because people want to ruin the life of someone who has done wrong. Im sick of all the puritanical BS like everyone isn’t flawed or have skeletons in their closet.
imo seperating the art from the artist is a completely fair statement for why it’s okay to enjoy the Justin Roiland Rick and Morty years, but not a good argument for why he should still be around to produce more art. Add in the fact that Rick and Morty’s initial pilot was based entirely around a paedo joke and it makes sense that people feel weird about the situation. The person calling someone else a paedo for having an opinion about the quality of the show with and without Roiland is out of pocket, though.
