Yes, this is why I said install Firefox from the play store. It allows you to add the extension in the settings options (like a normal Firefox version on PC). When you add Ublock origin to it, it even skips ads on Youtube still. Google Chrome doesn’t allow this, so I kicked it off a cliff.
AHHH! Firefox! Was trying to think of that the other day for a friend of mine, and went brain dead, thanks. Didn’t know you could do that, might try and do that later today, tried to just load the app by itself, and it did nothing.
I know there is no problem with me using Firefox on my Chromebook, though I have not used it in a very long time now, as years ago, the ‘woke mob’ got ticked off at the CEO of the company at the time made a donation to a cause with his own money to something they didn’t like, and they demanded that they fire the guy. Just so happens he was the very same just that wrote Java script, without Which we wouldn’t have the internet. And they actually bent to the pressure and got rid of him. Have not used it since.
Was a great search engine, too. Been using other stuff since then, just not the Google one, gives me a lot of skewed results. Thanks for the information, appreciate it…
