Definitely better than the last few entries to the franchise. Although the main premonition was enjoyable and pleasing to watch, I feel it wasnt very impactful. For example, I live in Toronto and the next time I go up the CN Tower this movie scene wont come up in my mind at all. The same cant be said about planes and log trucks tho.
That’s actually a super helpful subjective review. Great horror movies make you feel a twinge of fear when you look in the mirror, or go swimming in a lake or when you’re a space trucker (it doesn’t always apply). When an actual landmark is used for a horror set piece and it’s not very impactful that’s an unfortunate miss.
