He did a couple of good thrillers later, like ‘Identity’ and ‘1408’, but his true masterpieces are ‘Say Anything’, ‘Grosse Pointe Blank’, and two of his early movies, both comedies: ‘One Crazy Summer’, and especially ‘Better Off Dead’. I also liked him a lot in the RomCom ‘Serendipity’.
All Great movies, although I’m not a huge thriller/horror film person so I haven’t watched those two. Serendipity is an excellent movie. I’ll occasionally watch that too. When I had cable that’s one of those movies if I was scrolling and went past that, I’d always leave on.
