Happy for the winners. Not my favorite format. I felt that 2 sets of walk thrus in 2 episodes was a bit much & that the owners should have seen the place before hearing the scores. I’m curious what kind of budget they had to work with. For any Aussies out there: do you pay property taxes? Some of these homes doubled in value & I worry that families who couldn’t afford to pay for reno on their homes will now not be able to keep up on the taxes. What a shame it would be to have to sell your “dream home”. From what I recall there was this issue with American homes in some of these reno shows and I always thought that would be devastating. Also curious if this show took the place of House Rules? I thought a new season was supposed to film but it’s hard to find accurate info. All in all it was a decent “background” show to have on while I worked.
