Sadly, no place to swim around here and I did my partying and tanning when I was young. Now I just go work in my garden or run errands very early every day to avoid the heat, and sit inside in the a/c the rest of the time, doomscrolling on Google News and YouTube, watching free tv and movies here. Our country is going to hell in a handbasket. Can I come live with you in Australia? LOL I hear your country is worse about letting people in than Trump is now.
Yes, originally from Aus. but have lived in USA for nearly 30 years.. both political parties in Australia are very tough on who comes into the country…. always been like that, very monitored and organized, but it’s a big island, so you can do that. A few months ago there were some boat people caught off the coast of Western Australia - picked up right away and shoved offshore to a detention center on an island in Indonesia!! Having said that - there about 70,000 people living in he country illegally - (mostly visa overstays).
