It’s not rocket science to figure out what a Klingon is saying. It’s lips are moving, it’s an insult. It’s lips are moving, and it’s in your grill, it’s a threat. It’s lips are moving, and it’s holding a weapon, yeah, threat without a doubt. All the rest is just getting cussed at most like.
One of the things I loved about DS9 was all of the crossover into English, mainly names of dishes from the Klingon restaurant. What was the name of that Klingon dish with the live worms? It’s like bi bim bap, in certain locales everyone expects it to be on the diner menu.
