That really bothered me too. I don’t like it when they hurt kids, even in tv shows or movies.

Yeah, they are such easy target. As young one come from a place of more or less forced trust in SOMEONE as one can’t feed one self. That and a lying and super boring school in combination with that there actually exist an reality based on direct access to deep knowledge trough contact with the accumulated wisdom that reside in our bodies form( as in an accumulation of choices that obviously have survived so far) makes magic really interesting for young as a way for them to power and knowledge. It does include an aspect of self trust and self love and self acknowledgment and exclusion of the voice of outer authority, things that is natural for a young, by the “grown world” bullied person, yet not bogged down by the burden of failed bribes, shame and confusion.. BUT this films portray that that heritage comes from an authoritarian, strictly led “program” dominated by quirky “professors” (authorities ) and essentially from an secret but authoritarian institution.. This is so false. It is a long road of learning to filter ones own impulses of fear and self-entitlement and longing from grandiour. This kind of “things” grab the young in an natural and power purifying impulse and lead them in an totally opposite direction away from a self that is beyond the limited self of the private body(even if this self is experienced trough the own body). It is bribes of cheap dreams leading to stupidity and loss and waste of self and youth. it’s disgusting and cultural theft and suppression executed by greedy people selling the spirit for popcorn, champange, caviar and sad whores. Puhh.. It makes me angry prone to dashing out good spankings even if I know this people are desperate and lost.. So yeah..
