In Marvel Comics and associated media, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has undergone a designation shift, now being referred to as Earth-616, previously known as Earth-199999. This change was explicitly confirmed in Marvel’s official publications and within the narrative of films like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
This is still a thing that’s completely up in the air since Dr Strange. They did call it the designated 616 there, but they didn’t actually call it Earth-616 in the movie. Earth-616 was, and still is the main Marvel comics continuity, and obviously the MCU and the comics don’t exist in the same continuinity.
