As someone that has had a loved one taken at 35yo due to murder (too soon), I didn’t feel the need to repeat a well known/googlable fact, that I find upsetting due to my personal experiences, and others may also. But you, do you. no stress.

I find many things that I think are “well-known or common knowledge” just isn’t anymore. And me “being me” means not sugar-coating a tragedy. I’m sorry you find the circumstances of his passing triggering. Maybe don’t make comments on public forums that could lead to others responding in such a way you find upsetting.
