I don’t know that Gary Farmer is suffering from a life-threatening illness, but his appearance strongly suggests it and that line being delivered by him really hit home as a result. Here’s hoping that he’s just lost a lot of weight but is otherwise in good health and the writers are using his appearance to full effect.
Lung cancer in remission since 2021 treatment. He says the weight loss is exercise and diet. He’s become an advocate for indiginous cancer awareness, urging others to get screenings.
