Yes, most of us have ancestors from the old country. On my dad’s side they were Huguenots who left France and settled in England. Then had to deal with Henry the VIII and they left England and headed to the America.
Funny you should mention that, have a friend in her 70’s, out in Ore., retired teacher, also has some Indian blood, can’t remember from what tribe though, was telling me once that she had some Huguenots in her family line as well. She was really into the whole Geneology thing.
