This film puts you inside the head of a young girl and lets you see first hand through her diary entries and interactions with friends what leads to a hard core addiction and all that goes with that. There’s some food for thought here as people were so ignorant back then. As an addict who has been to 1000’s of meetings ive heard this story before but never told quite like this. worth a watch.
I read the book as a young teenager. I was unaware that made a film about it. I’ll be putting it on my watchlist now that I read your comment. Thanks for giving a review. Sometimes the films pale in comparison to the book, however it has a great cast. Good day to you :D
